Sleepyhead problems - UPDATE - seems fixed now!

Post by snoozysue » Sun Jul 15, 2012 7:28 pm

I have just reinstalled Sleepyhead due to a computer reformat (I swear I din't know I was dowloading a virus!)
Now it won't pick up any data off the SD card. I then changed to be the administrator but still it says there is no data on the disc. I know there is because I can see last night on it.
Before when I was using Sleepyhead I only needed to import from "the usual". This no longer works so I open up the correct drive and there are 2 folders. I have tried both but it doesn't load any data.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The usual problem is going to deep. Just point to the root of the SD card not a folder within it.

I just downloaded SleepyHead on my Macbook Pro Retina running Lion and its not able to import any data. When I point to the SD card (or a copy of the SD card I made) the program can get all the info about my machine including the serial number, but it says "No CPAP Machine Data Imported". Any idea what the cause of this could be?

Need to point to the root drive letter where the files are sitting and not to the files themselves unless one main folder.
If you see anything other than main drive letter (where the SD card resides) or a generic folder then you have gone too far.

Look in the SleepyHead User Guide...link in my signature line for an image of the root drive choice. If you have anything other than the letter of the root drive (or however Mac's present it) then you have gone too far. Macs may call it something else and someone using a Mac (not me) might explain it better.

I tried linking to the root of the drive, to every file in the drive, and I even copied everything to a file and tried linking to that file, the file that was in and every folder under it. When I plugged the card into Repironics Encore Basic it read no problem.

It likely has something to do with Mac version then. For some reason not finding the proper thing it is looking for.
I would remove SH and try again. Go get a fresh Mac version of SH and start from scratch. If still no luck then start a new thread with your problem and mention Mac and SH in the topic so as to get those people who use a Mac to help you. I have never used a Mac so I am no help at all beyond the basics. There are many Mac users here running SleepyHead without any issues.

Just another suggestion. Try rebooting your computer if you haven't.

Thanks for the post saying it's not compatible with the 60 series system - that's what I have and I was wondering why it wouldn't work.
