First 30 days

Okay, it's only been 27 days but the DME called and requested the chip so I gave it to them. Sleep study AHI 26; Current AHI 1.7. Could not be more pleased!--T.

It's been almost 2 months for me and my DME doesn't know I exist LOL. I expected to have to turn in the data card by now, and remember the RT saying they would contact me for the data card, but no one has made the effort. When I call about it no one knows what I'm talking about. When I've gone in to their office they look at me like I have a 3rd eye on my face.

It sounds like your DME is on the ball. Oh, and congrats on your first 30 days!

My DME called after the first week to see if everything was ok. I read off my compliance numbers then told them of my other stats (she got quiet). Anyway, that was the last I heard from them.

I found out my insurance company pays their 70% all at once and do not require the DME to forward compliance data to them. Maybe yours is the same way. So you may not hear from them until your resupply. On August 16th my first three months will be over and I should start getting resupplied with "consumables". I will (nor have have) hold my breath. I went ahead and ordered filters from our host site (with cats and dogs in the house, filters get abused). I also got pillows and a new hose. So if the DME comes through I will be well stocked.

Hey Tino, you have Apria through Cigna/Care Centrix too, don't you? (or perhaps it's someone else I'm thinking of...)

I think you may be right about the insurance company not needing the compliance - maybe that's why my DME has been silent.
