Is there any new info on this model? I know it's an old thread, but I didn't realize they had been around that long.
I'm wondering if they use the .spoR or .spo2 file format.

Hi Inkdesigner!

New gadgets, can be a pain.

I am interested in the Perfusion Index, in particular if that data is included in the graphical display and/or data files. If I understand what they are looking at it is basically the amount of blood in the finger - average - at a given time. If that data is there it could be used as a way to infer that an awakening has occurred. Basically, an awakening would result in a stress reaction which would cause blood to flow toward the core and away from extremities (hands, feet, etc..). So if the perfusion data is there it could be correlated with the rest of a night of PAP, audio, video, etc.. data to give one a better idea of what is going on.

Please let us know!!

Thanks Much!!!

I'm interested in the CMS50I as well. It seems like some people were able to purchase this model a couple of years ago but I don't see it anywhere in the U.S. Not sure why this model isn't more popular. Anyone see this model sold in the U.S.? Is there some defect in this model anyone is aware of? Gipp

This model is still not FDA approved. That answers my question.
