Hi,
It has been awfully hot here in the DC area, especially with loss of power a few days last week. Although I usually sleep with a pretty bulky chin strap, last night I took a strap from my old Swift FX, the blue one that fits behind the head, and attached it via its velcro connections to the bottom sides of my two Bella loops. It created kind of a cradle for my chin. Not a very tight fit, and I had to double the blue strap back on itself to make it fit, but it did not tug that much more on my ears than just wearing the regular Bella. It seemed to provide just enough "reminder" to my jaw to stay closed. Can't say whether it will work out over time, just wondering if anyone else has tried rigging up something along these lines. (Apologies if this subject has already been covered. I am not great at the Search function.)
Bella Loops chin strap contraption?

Re: Bella Loops chin strap contraption?
I've tried this a few times. I have had some recent success using the chin strap portion of my Halo looped around the bottom connections of my Quattro FX. Even though I use a FFM, it helps to have something to stop my mouth from opening. I think fixing the chin strap to the mask makes it more comfortable and maybe even more effective than a regular chin strap. It also keeps the mask from riding up.
