REMstar system one users,
Please can you tell me how to read the screen in darkness ( how to turn the screen's light on during therapy ).
Thanks
system one
Re: system one
Answer for older machines: sorry, you're SOL, you don't need to see the screen.
Newer machines like yours are backlit but someone else will have to tell you how because I'm one of the above. My guess is that you have to enable it in the clinicians menu.

Re: system one
during therapy, keep a flashlight near the machine or turn the lights on in the room to read the screen. the backlight don't come on during therapy and there is no setting for it.

Thanks greatunclebill
About the RAMP feature, it is not not showing in setup menu (clinical). How to activate this feature?

Re: system one
You need the clinical manuel for your machine, you can download it here, it will tell you how to use your machine. Jim

Re: system one
Not only do you need a flashlight, the LCD display is so awful that it's hard to read with a flashlight.

Re: system one
Such a cheap thing for Respironics to omit. And what a total PIA every single night. Its true, even using a flashlight it is nearly impossible to read. I've knocked off everything on my nightstand more than a few times trying to get a read on that brick. And then I'm wide awake from all the activity and cursing Respironics.
Is it true that their new machines have this "feature"? If so, does it turn on during therapy, too, or not? Thanks.
