Sedetive + Sleep Apnea Event = Death?

Not necessarily (or I'd be expired by now), but sedative + untreated apnea = worse sleep apnea in most cases. Are you ok?

Oh ya I'm fine. I was just wondering about that. I try to avoid seditives when I can.

Remember; Alcohol is also a sedative, and a CNS depressant.

If you are going to take sedatives of any kind (including alcohol), I would recommend asking your sleep doctor about it. They may decide to change your pressure setting or prescribe an AutoPAP machine, especially if the sedatives are therapeutic in nature...
