ResMed S-9 And Auto Function

Post by jrfoster » Fri Jul 06, 2012 4:44 pm

How does the machine act differently if I set the settings to Auto...which is 80 degrees for the hose and 3 for the humidifier...verses if I set it to manual and choose 80 degrees and 3? Just what is automatic about it? Had it on auto last night and woke up with water drops in my mask. Thanks.

If the setting is exactly the same, then it is the same.

In auto, the machine determines the settings based on the air around it. In manual mode, you set the temp and humidity. So, you don't have to chose what the machine chooses.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?
