mypillow

Anyone ever tried MyPillow from my pillow.com? I watched the info-mercial, and other than the high price, it looks pretty interesting.

Hi,

You might want to check out these ratings on Amazon. It averaged 3 stars out of 5.

It's odd they don't say what it's filled with.

The unhappy reviews say it is filled with a lumpy kind of foam. Some people say the pillow makes noise, and some say it doesn't.

I wish I could find more of the pillow I have. I don't know what it is called, but it is a firm pillow with a dent in the middle for the head. The two that I have are old, and I found them at thrift stores. I sleep propped up on my pillows, so I use them more vertical than flat. So, I need a good firm pillow to hold me up.

Years ago, I had a pillow I really loved. It was one single pillow with two small square pillows on each side that were attached to the larger pillow. This allowed you to sleep on either side with a thick pillow, but on your back with a normal pillow. I bought it online and never managed to find it again.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?

I got one a few weeks ago.
Not very impressed and not worth the money.

I am sending it back.

Not enough are right for me to dare get online; I've got to be able to handle them in the store.
Most are to thick for my size, more are too hard,
I shop with touch, checking for loft, softness, and return to the original shape.
I also check for quality as far as I can tell on visible materials and construction. It is still very unreliable,
but hubby likes them all, so all the ones I can't return go onto his side of the bed.

I saw an ad from a lady who wanted to get rid of 2 Mypillow. Neither she nor her hubby liked them.

I saw an ad on Craigslist San Francisco or San Diego for 2 pillows with the dent in the middle, like you described. The ad said would sell each pillow for $3, sorry can't remember which San. If you find the ad, maybe the seller will ship for additional fee. Good luck!
