Free to anyone in need

Post by mayondair » Mon Jun 18, 2012 5:42 am

I just bought a machine off Craig's List, in the bag was a Respironics Easy Life nasal mask , med , and a chin strap. Seller reports that the owner( who passed away, LOW machine hours , not consistent usage) Was a smoker, but did not smoke in his house, I detected no smoke odor on anything, and have cleaned the headgear and mask, soaked the mask in vinegar solution. It's not new, but not worn out either. Will send it anywhere in US, you pay shipping. Send me a PM if you can use this, if it doesn't work for you, please pass it on. Kathy

From what I could tell in the OP. I think she is offering the mask and not the machine but I could be wrong.

Mentioning low machines hours...means that the mask wasn't used much either and helps since we don't have anyway to know how much a mask has been used.

Unfortunately, the forum has a new member who is less than honest, I sent the mask , the agreed on postage was 3.50$, certainly not a great sum, and I would have sent it for free if someone had said they couldn't afford even postage. No response to my PMs. So, beware of new " users" . Kathy

It is sad to hear that a Member has done something like this but for the most part I like to think that most New Member's are joining to learn and also to help others by exchanging information and should not be avoided due to the actions of a few. Just my thoughts ......

Most of the forum members here are the most helpful , kind people in the world. Wouldn't have it any other way. Just saying, if you have buisness dealings or other matters with a member who joined in say, May, you may want to send me a PM. kathy
