Bad Card or Machine

Post by Black8 » Wed Jun 13, 2012 7:38 pm

Have a Res Med S9. No problems until now. When I try to read sd card in Res Med software, it only has info up until June 10th. There is info on card that looks like June 11th was last time card was written to. When I place card in machine, machine says invalid card and ask me if I want to erase all the data. Question is if I erase all data, will machine rebuild all the neded files or ae those files put on by card provier, At Home Medical? Seems there are other days when no data was recorded and use machine every night. Is there a place to downlod Res Med Sotware in case that is also part of the problem? Thanks for any and all help.

Here is a video about how to read the card and download data from it. http://montfordhouse.com/cpap/resscan_t ... practices/

Bad Card or Machine

Found the problem. Somehow 3 small files were on the card. I had made a bu of the card. Stare and compare. Deleted the 3 small files and machine sees the card ok and Res Med now reads data completly. Somehow while card was in computor slot, 3 small files were added to card. Using Window 7. Files seemed to be relaed to winamp. Those caused the problem for the machine and Res Med software. Glad I made th backup and had the legit file structure of card when it was good. Copy the card to a BU folder on your machine. Info in those files really doesn't matter, just what file structure is. Thanks for the help.

S9 data card characteristics and file structures have been discussed quite a bit on this forum. You should be able to find the topics by searching for S9, SD card, format, files, and so on. It'll be worth your while to read the topics. The S9 is extremely particular about what is on the card. Another way to find some of the topics would be to search for STR.edf.
