SleepyHead not loading data

Post by daveverdo » Tue Jun 05, 2012 10:12 am

Hi All,

I just installed SleepyHead and it is not loading my data. It is seeing my SD card and reading the machine information but says there is no data. If I check the SD card there is data there.

about the machine in your profile: This machine only tracks and shows compliance data through the on machine display or through the Encore Software. it may not be compatible with sleepyhead because it only shows basic compliance data, not full data. everything on your card should be available on the cpap screen.

Hi

I have that same machine the responder does (Remstar system one legacy aflex). It does have information on the screen, but I want to see the day by day graphs the doctor has when he charges me for the download. Can I get that using the viewer software?

thanks

The specifications say that it stores the data. Here is a quote from the spec sheet:

Data Storage Capacity

Display: Compliance VIC. 7-Day and 30-Day averages
SD Card >1 year (daily details with flow waveforms)
On-board: up to 6 months

I only got my machine last Friday and have been using it every night since then. I haven't had any problems with the mask, the mild panic of my face being covered has been manageable, and I haven't knocked it off at all the last four nights. I've been checking the data on the screen every morning but as an IT geek I'd really like to be able to pull more data from the machine. I know that it's helping so far, I started with an AHI the first night of 11, and now it's down to 9. Hopefully it'll keep dropping as I get used to it. It certainly beats the score of 47 I started with from my initial sleep study. I am not sleeping the full night yet, but when I do wake in the morning I have for the most part already lost the day long fatigue I was experiencing so there's definite interest in continuing this. I would like to be able to chart more information than is available on the device screen though. It manages to calculate the average data, so it must be recording and storing the data in a more discrete method.

here's the list of all hardware that sleepyhead supports. respironics products with plus in the title are not supported because they only contain compliance data. you may be able to view the compliance data on encore software, but it appears to be only compliance data. this machine is not fully data capable.
--------------------------------------------------
CPAP Machines
Philips Respironics
RemStar System One Series, including BIPAP & AutoSV machines.

Basic models like 250P and similar do not record anything more than usage data. Most of these unsupported models have names that end in Plus.
-----------------------------------------------------
ResMed
S9 Machines, including VPAP & ASV machines.

As with Philips Respironics machines, some models (eg, "Escape") only record usage data, and are not supported by SleepyHead.
----------------------------------------------
DeVilbiss
Intellipap

Support for these machines is currently progressing well.

There is no flow rate waveform available (via the SD card) in current Intellipap models.

However this may be accessable via a serial cable, but it would require a computer near the bed to record it.
----------------------------------------------------------
Fisher & Paykel

Basic support has been added to SleepyHead GIT source.. it still needs testing.

Flow waveform still needs decoding.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Oximeters
ResMed
S9 Oximeter Attachment

This data is incorporated into the S9's EDF data, and is synced with the CPAP data.

No-one has really tested it yet, as these oximeters are hideously overpriced.

Contec
CMS50X Series

So far works with CMS50D+, and hopefully with the new Oximetry rewrite, the rest of the CMS50 family..

CMS60 support is currently being explored
---------------------------------------------------------------
Sleep Staging
Zeo
Support is currently in the process of being implemented for the Zeo Personal Sleep Coach.
