I had a similar problem with my respironics hose. A forum member suggested I sleep under the blankets and that stopped the whistling till I could buy a heated hose, which stopped all the whistling immediately. I also have my hose over my bedhead as I am a side sleeper and move from side to side during the night. I now have a different machine. All the best for a quiet night!

Well, you gals got me there. Never heard of the stuff. But on looking it up, it seems it aught to do about the same job as silicone grease, though both are edible, and my recollection of lanolin is that it has a distinct odor. Is Lansinoh odorless?chunkyfrog wrote:I vote for Lansinoh.

Totally odorless; and tasteless.
It's purified to use on nursing mommys--so the baby won't swallow anything harmful.
