Just bought the starter set from cpap.com that includes Clear and Calm a few weeks ago. Verdict: I can take it or leave it.

I checked the mailbox today and the sample was there. I can not wait to try it out tonight. I have had severe sinus issues for the last 15 or more years and use everything possible to fight the stuffy congested feeling just to be able to use my CPAP. I am hoping that this will bring some needed relief.
And I alo got your PM thanks.

Just got mine today. Very nice, simple and clean in design.

Do you make a cinnamon scent? I boil water on my woodstove all winter, to keep the winter funk at bay I throw cinnamon sticks in the water. Clears my head and sinuses plus makes the house smell like something yummy is in the oven.

Will be ordering soon

Bob

Thanks again, much appreciated

I used the Calm last night. at first I tried to use the stem that hangs from the cap to get the drops onto the pad but it did not seem to do anything so I then just placed the pad over the open bottle tightly and turned it over quickly to get some onto it and then I could tell for sure that I had gotten some onto the pad. I set it about 3/4 of an inch from the air intake and for some it might have been too strong but for me with the sinus problems that I have it was just right. I really liked the aroma and it seemed to help keep my sinuses open a littled better last night.
I wish that I did not have such bad insomnia and that my sleeping pills worked better but at least laying in bed waiting to fall asleep last night was alot more pleasant than normal. I would guess that the aroma was gone at least what I could notice within about 3 hours.
Tonight I will try the Clear a try. So far I am liking the product.

I am curious what others have found to be the best way to get the drops onto the pads. When purchasing the larger bottles do they have something like an eye dropper in them?

Dave

Dave,

Your evaluation and description is probably exactly what the OP was looking for, and puts my "loved it" to shame.
Also, my sample came with a brochure that describes the method that you used as the preferred method for applying a drop of liquid to the pad.
Did yours not have any documentation?

And to the OP, can I just say "Ditto" or, "What he said?"

Yes there was a brochure. What can I say, I am a typical male, I looked at the pictures for a second then went straight to the toys. I very rarely read the directions first. I did look at it a bit and I guess I should go get it and really look at it closer. I had it in my head that it was going to be mostly sales jargen and that I would read it after trying the samples.
I have been on the web site already looking at all of the products and I really like what I see so far. I am going to try the two samples for a few days and I am trying to decide what to order. It would be nice if there were some other options for starter packs on the site, I know for myself there are several of the scents that I would just never even try. If I could customize my own starter pack that would be great but I do understand that it would be hard on their staff to custom build each one instead of just packing a bunch at a time all the same and putting them on a shelf until ordered. I know for myself the Calm with the eucalyptus is going to be a biggie for me and that is not one of the 5ml bottles in the basic starter so I will probably end up ordering the blaster kit and the sample kit to start.

Duhhh!! OK I decided to read before I hit submit and there it was and it was also right there in the FAQ on the web site to do exactly what I did. See why bother reading the directions when I look at it for a minute and come to the same conclusion the they did? LOL And if I had read it first I would have probably spilled it on myself.....

Well, you know what they say... When in doubt, RTFM!

I totally agree too about the eucalyptus; it will definitely be my "goto." As for the other scents, yeah I can't see myself EVER wanting to go to sleep smelling any of the aircandy scents, e.g. bubblegum... YUK!

But the rest, oh yeah, I could definitely buy a sample pack containing those.

I received my sample yesterday, too. I read the instructions and doing so made me kind of a paranoid about adding too much to the pad. In retrospect, I think I didn't add enough or I put it in the wrong spot. While i could smell it when I first applied it to the pad, I couldn't smell it when I used it with my mask on. I may have also applied it too early-- like an an hour or two before I ended up putting my mask on. Eager to try again.

Silly question-- So, the air intake --- thats where the filters go, right?
