I prefer that you post in ResScan.

Either one will get some attention. What do you have questions about?

BTW, be sure to include you're profile data. It will help answer your questions. See mine for an example.

Hey scamp, your data looks good to me. Just, I would reduce the APAP max pressure to 16 cm b/c you don't need the 20 cm and it takes extra time for the machine to respond. As to your slight snoring I would like to suggest that you wear a chin strap not b/c of any mouth leaks but the chinstrap by lifting the chin would reduce the snoring. If you decide to try it then try the Topaz chinstrap under your mask.

Reports look great.

BTW that 20 maximum...it is fine where it is at unless it bothers you. I don't know where Avi gets his thinking that at 20 it slows the response time...if it never goes there it is a non factor in things. Heck, if we could set the machine to 50 cm and the machine never went above 10 cm it is a moot point. There is zero effect from a maximum setting that is never reached.

You machine never went above 15 cm. Now if you think pressure variations are disturbing your sleep then we might limit the range of pressures but minimum of 12....and never goes above 15...that's a pretty tight range already.

I don't see the need to change anything. Lowering the maximum won't impact things any unless you have a super strong event try to sneak past the defenses and if you lower the max...it might sneak right in.

thanks pugsy do you think I may need the chinstrap or not? most nights with new machine have been similar. When I first went on cpap in 07 I had the feeling of rest I am having now and it is back. I actually had some dreams I could remeber the last few days.

Thought I might fill you in on my health which may explain some otf the other things. I am 49 I had a heart attack at 36 and 42 I have had 2 lower back surgeries with fusions and one neck with a 3 level fusion. I am overweight meds and back have slowed me down. High blood pressure and diabetic. so the cpap has been a super helper on the sleep, Normally take melaxicam at bedtime to help with back sometimes have to have an oxycodone wake up every morning barely able to move.

No chin strap with this report?
Well if it were my report I sure wouldn't be wearing a chin strap. I wish my leak lines were half as good as yours.
Don't know about the snore thing...To me unless someone was reporting that I had huge snoring I wouldn't worry about it (or I woke myself up snoring).
I don't really care for the way ResMed shows their snores...kinda hard to tell if they are really bad which might indicate some flow limitations. If the snores are maybe from some flow limitations...a wee bit more minimum pressure maybe...

If you are feeling good, sleeping well...if it ain't broke..no need to fix it.

If you just want to experiment just to see what might happen...that is another discussion but I don't see in urgent need to make any major changes unless you are having problems.
