respironics SV - alarm E63 Internal watchdog failure

Hi
Woke up this morning with mask off & (5 yr old) auto SV displaying alarm code E63. I checked manual and discovered code means "Internal watchdog failure" but it doesn't offer any explanation. It sounds serious and I assume it means time to replace the machine or send this somewhere for repair. Either way, I'll be sleeping with a mask on for 1st time in ~ 5 years.
Any ideas or suggestions?
