Happy data readout

Post by swrinfla » Tue May 22, 2012 1:29 pm

I was going to post this in the Data Download thread, but they were all being so technical there!

I just had to report, with glee, that my sleep doctor read my smart card this morning.

AHI only 0.7! Pleased! Average nightly use over almost 60 days was 6:30. Doc pleased; me too!

Hi There
1) I'm at AHI 1.5. So your doing better than I am. Waiting to get my results from my S9Autoset to see just how many events I have, etc.
2) I'm happy too and feeling great!

Assuming your S9 has a data card in it, you can view the data on your own computer. The card is a standard SD card, so most card readers can accept them. I use the Resmed software that was included in a link somewhere. Many people also use sleepyhead software, which have not tried yet.

You can plug in the dates from when you started and today, and it will tell you your average usage per day. I skipped one day completely because I did not go to bed. I also have one day that was less than 2 hours because I fell asleep watching tv and didn't put it on until the last 2 hours. But even with that, my average is over 6 hours, so I am sure my doctor will be pleased. I know I am. And I feel better, and my blood pressure readings are improving.

Anyway, the data is really cool to look at. You can see how hard the machine has worked to help you. You can check that your mask isn't leaking too much. My mom has an older macine without all that data, and she is envious of the data I can see.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?

Hi there
1) The last five days average .72 AHI. Last night was .49 AHI with only 4 events- 3 OA and 1 Hyponea!
2) Very very happy on my new S9 Autoset that I can see the data!
3) Leaks are good.
4) Just wanted to share that I am doing even better!
