Hope someone can give me advice. My machine's hose keeps me awake...it whistles and wakes me up regularly. I am on an ASV respironics with heated humidifier and as the hose is not heated, the water condensation gets up the hose as well...sigh...I just want to SLEEP! I have a hose cosy. Humidifier setting is 3. I am used to the Resmed heated hose which is not available on this machine.
Any tips appreciated!

Try to place the machine lower than your bed so water can drain back into the humidifier, place the hose under the bed covers and warm the bedroom if possible.

Lower the machine, cover the hose and check your mask. The mask valve will make noise if it has moisture on it. Try to lower the humidifier setting if you can live with it set lower for now until you can get a proper hose cover.

Check for holes. Especially if you have cats. Electrical tape will help patch it.

I have started to have this problem with my mirage softgel. I overcame it by only puting enough water for the one night in the humidifier.
