When does the PRS1 start the new day

Post by squid13 » Tue May 01, 2012 8:51 am

I know that the ResMed S9 starts the new day at 12 noon, when does the PRS1 start the new day?

The PR System One machines start the new day at 12:00 noon Greenwich Meridian Time---regardless of where you are.

In Encore Viewer, there are provisions to use the computer's time setting to report the data in a 12:00 noon to 12:00 noon LOCAL TIME scale. In Encore Pro, you have to set the desired time zone, if I recall correctly. In Sleepy Head, the default setting is to use a 12:00 noon to 12:00 noon LOCAL time window for reporting the daily data. But you can change that rather easily in the preferences.

I just had a thought about that (I know that is dangerous). I just googled the chart and 12 noon GMT time now is 7 AM day light savings time in the central time zone. If I'm still sleeping at this time, what does the machine do clear the previous data and start data for a new day?

My machine never clears data from the previous day. When I download my card into SleepyHead new install I get every day. Not sure if this is what you are asking.

It's on the SD card but the machine starts recording for a new day of using cpap. On the S9 you can view your data for last night on the LCD screen but at 12 noon it clears and is ready for the new data for when you use it next.
