Zeo Mobile vs. Zeo Bedside
Zeo Mobile vs. Zeo Bedside
I am considering the purchase of the Zeo. I am planning on importing the data into Sleepyhead. Does it matter which is purchased to do this? what are the major differences in the machines? Will both port into sleepyhead?

Here is a good place to start. Beyond that, just do a forum search for zeo* and you will find lots of opinions.

Re: Zeo Mobile vs. Zeo Bedside
I use the mobile zeo.
No problem importing into sleepyhead.
The mobile iPhone app actually uses the website for its calculation. So wake in the morning, hit "stop tracking" in the iPhone and then go to a website on the sleepyhead pc to download the CSV from the zeo website. There's no need to upload it from zeo to website as I understand that happens behind the scenes.

Re: Zeo Mobile vs. Zeo Bedside
I use the Bedside. I got it because I didn't have a suitable smart phone and the Bedside is "hackable", that is, I could upload some firmware into it, make a serial cable and get at the real-time brain waves over the cable. Not too many people have the need/desire for the raw brain waves or the software writing skills necessary to capture them, however. With the Bedside, you have to pop out a SD memory card, put it in your PC and upload it to their web site to see their charts and graphs.

If you have any interest in real time data you may want the bedside unit.

Re: Zeo Mobile vs. Zeo Bedside
FWIW, the Bedside unit is standalone. The Mobile requires a smartphone. Nothing wrong with that. Is it OK for you to have to use a smartphone with Zeo?
