ResMed S9 Compliance Report Date Range

Hello,

Last April, I was issued the ResMed S9. It is capable of tracking compliance for 365 days. I'm just wondering what that 365 day date range is? Is it from Jan to Jan?

The reason I ask is because my SD card now reflects the earliest compliance dates is for the month of April, and does not reflect any prior compliance.

Is my 365 day compliance report for Apr to Apr?

It should be from whatever date you started until 365 days after that, but the number of months displayed is selected in the ResScan software. I must looked and mine shows the prior 30 days compliance. Since I've never had to show compliance to anyone, I left it that way, but I recall seeing a menu that allows you to change the number of days compliance data is displayed. Sounds like somehow the earlier compliance data was deleted. Perhaps by whomever it is that was monitoring it (i.e. your MD or DME)?

I looked... and it was set on 30 days. Hummm... one would think the tech would have set it to 365 days when it was issued to me. No one has asked me for a compliance report, but I will need one when I eventually have a FAA Medical Exam for my Class 3 Certificate. I've since set it to 365 days.

The compliance data is part of the summary data file. That file is the only one stored in the S9 and will extend back from today to when you started using the machine, or 365 days, whichever is the later beginning date. It is updated every day on both the S9 and and SD card. Once you have used the machine for more than 365 days the data file stays at 365 days long. Data is recorded in 'round robin' fashion. When today's data is written to the file the data from 366 days ago is deleted. The compliance window in Resscan is adjustable for any date range up to 365 days. It has no affect on what is actually stored in the data file.

edit: I should have asked first. Are you referring to the data as you see it in Resscan, or referring to the date range of the data files on the S9 card? The card will have the following *.EDF files on it: 7 BRP files, 30 PLD, EVE, & SAD files, and 1 STR file. The STR file is the summary data file from which the compliance report is generated. There are a bunch of other files on the card also.

The date range on the S9 card. When I inserted it into my computer I only saw files for the month of April. I then noted that the Resscan was set to 30 days. So, I thought it was only capturing data from the last 30 days..., meaning the calendar month of April.
