I posted about this in another section so forgive me for doing this twice but I wanted to make sure enough people saw it. My problem is Im useing the Breeze nasal pillow system but its putting alot of pressure on my nose and doesnt feel secure no matter how I adjust it. Its so distracting that I can hardly sleep with it and when I do fall asleep I end up pulling it off cause I wake up from the pain it puts on pressure points under my nose. I saw the Mirage Swift and was wondering if anyone could tell me if it resolved the same problems Im having with my Breeze. It looks like it would be much more comfortable. Thanx for any help you can give me.

A lot of people find the Swift very comfortable. It's definitely better than the Breeze if you like to sleep on your back a lot.
Another interface you might want to consider is the very new re-designed ComfortLite 2 with nasal pillows. (Gotta have the "2" in the name...you don't want the older version.)
Aeiomed's "Headrest" (Aura) nasal pillows mask and Respironics' ComfortLite 2 nasal pillows are my two favorites.

welcome! i really feel bad for you, and i'm glad you started a new thread. but i'm not a breeze user, so i can't even guess whether swift would help you. but one thing that helped me in my mask decision-making was to call the cpap.com phone number and talk with a rep about the best solution to my specific problem with a particular mask. i talked to becky, who was very knowledgable about whether a different mask would help ME. i mention becky's name because i called the next day to order, and the rep seemed clueless about anything except how to process the order. when i talked to becky, there was no pressure to buy and she really went through the pros and cons of the two possible solutions, and i had/have a fairly unusual problem with full-face masks, and i needed a new one. so even though everyone here is very helpful and familiar with the different masks, based on their own use, i also found it more focused to talk one-to-one with an "expert." i put all the input together and came up with the best decision for my nose/mouth/face.
i don't want to make you nuts, but there's also the aura and nasal aire II in the "low artillery" of "face armor" department. as you saw on the other thread, swift may have its own set of problems. so if you describe your face structure and exactly what the problem is to someone who knows all the masks well, that may help give you an answer that works best for YOU.

For the time being I have given up on the nasal pillow type mask because of the pain from pressure points under my nose. I suggest you get a good nasal mask like the Activa to use. If for nothing else to give you something to trade off with your breeze for a break on your nose. If you are getting pain from a nasal pillow its a really good idea to change types of mask.

I too had problems with the breeze and solved them by rebuilding the headgear to just use the hose guide. It's still the best mask I have used in almost 3 years. If interested, search for LiteBreeze. I posted instructions for creating your own there.
