It all started around late September. I've always had that feeling where you like space out but then it wasn't affecting me. Then it all of a sudden started getting more powerful and stronger. It's like I was unconscious and then I would snap out of it and come to and forget for a second where I was. That would then send me into a mild panic attack. Then the brain fog and the spaciness started to creep in. These are the worst of the symptoms. I also get derealization and depersonalization. But I think that's due to the spaciness and out of it feeling. I just don't know where to turn anymore. Like I know anxiety is a factor but something else was causing this before the anxiety settled in. I'm tired of feeling so tired all the time.

My main symptoms include:
Foggy/dazed
Spacing out frequently
Very out of it
No energy
Bouts of dizziness
Mild headaches
A pain behind my eyes
DP/DR
Anxiety
My emotions have like disappeared
No motivation

I think the excessive fatigue and sleepiness was what got me panicking because I needed to "wake" myself up and I was wondering what the hell is wrong with me.  Then after the major panic attack I had on February 2nd everything went downhill from there. My symptoms were persistent and more powerful. I feel like I'm always walking around in a dream. Half awake half asleep its very irritating. And all I can really think about is this constant dreaming state that I'm in. I just hope the doctors find something soon.

Does this sound like anyone's experience with sleep apnea. I have an appointment with a pulmonologist soon. And I do snore and wake up with very dry mouth and very tired.

Some of your symptoms could be related to sleep apnea.
Of course they could also be related to something else.

When you next see a doctor...tell him/her you want a sleep study to test for sleep apnea. That way you know for sure.

We don't all have the same symptoms.
Mine were....major morning headaches, daytime fatigue, daytime sleepiness, dry mouth, snoring so bad I often woke myself up and finally my husband observed that I would stop breathing.

We don't have to have all the symptoms..just a couple will warrant further investigation.
You have more than a couple....get the sleep study done so you have that question answered one way or another.

I agree you should have a sleep study. That will hopefully eliminate or ease some of the symptoms, though it may take a month or more. After that you and your doc will have an easier time figuring out what else is going on.

I got started on this path mainly because of fatigue and multitudes of aches and pains related to Fibromyalgia. My doc hoped that the Fibro problems would ease with better sleep. Both have improved significantly, but not completely.

Best of luck. XPAP really isn't a major problem for most of us, it just takes time and understanding.

It sounds to me like you are depressed. You might have some sleep apnea also.

Both depression and anxiety can be signs of sleep apnea.

if you can say you're really sick and tired of being sick and tired, you may belong to our club. that's the one common symptom that we all probably have.

May be sleep apnea, may be depression/anxiety disorder which may be due to sleep apnea. Do get a sleep test. Go easy on yourself, no added stress, no big decisions. Chill out in front of the TV. Hang in there and please be sure to keep us posted as you've got people here concerned about you. Print what you wrote and take it to the Pulmonologist/ every doctor. You won't even have to explain, maybe answer some questions.
Good luck.

Please keep us posted, babygroove.
And if you are diagnosed, be sure to read about the machines, BEFORE they pick out a second-rate machine for you.
