I am wanting to bring my AHI down a little bit. It use to run 1.2 to 2.6 but has been running 5.2 to 6.8 for about the last 6 or 7 months, my 95% pressure usually runs 13 to 14 cm H2o. My cpap is set at 11.5 cm H2o min. and 20 cm H2o max.
If I bump my pressure up a little closer to my 95% pressure do you think that it would bring my AHI down some?

Re: Help With AHI
Absolutely, I did it with my ASV, my AHI's increased and ran 5 to 20. As soon as I boosted the min pressure the AHI dropped to 5 and under regularly. Don't make big adjustments, just a little at a time and keep monitoring it. Good luck
Thinking of quitting CPAP?
No problem, here's the first thing to do when you quit:
Advanced funeral planning. When you give up CPAP, you'll probably need it.

Re: Help With AHI
Hi - have you considered that you might be losing cpap air from your mouth while you're asleep and that pushing your pressure higher will make it worse if it's happening - it's a very common situation once someone's been on Cpap for a while.
Would you consider trying taping for a couple of nights to see if it helps, or even a full face mask?

Very possible, even a little bit makes a difference.
