Sorry, my response didn't make it onto the forum. By a "whopper" I just meant a central long enough to be causing the low O2. A 15 second central isn't a problem whereas a 60 second one could be.

And if it isn't being caused by the centrals, perhaps some other lung issue might be at play. That's what I meant by the Pulmonologist comment.

Shortness of breath means rapid breathing...like you can't catch your breath, out pf proportion to the exertion. Like huffing and puffing from climbing a single set of stairs.

No shortness of breath then. Thanks. I think I'm just going to get the final oximeter test from the doctor on monday and see what it looked like and get my own pulse ox. That way I'll know for sure for the long haul.

I'll let everybody know what those results said then.

Well,

I haven't got the chance to pick up my second results. However, I bought an oximeter and measured my own data. I'm not really concerned anymore. My oxygen levels were 95% the majority of time and did not ever go below 90s. They were usually around 95-98. Good news. I guess my only comment is that everyone should do more than one oximetry test to ensure that what was recorded levels was accurate.

I didn't wear tape around my finger the first night and did on the second test. I guess it caused the problems. I going to randomly moniter myself now and make sure it always like that in the future.

Thanks everyone for the help.
