Boy I've been on CPAP for a couple of weeks now but I feel exactly the same...still tired. My eyes dry out at night, not sure if that's affecting REM??
On CPAP for two weeks...not helping yet
Dry Eyes
Dry eyes usually mean a leak that is blowing on your eyes at night. It would be a good idea to fiddle with your mask to see if you can correct this. It is also possible you have a mask that just doesn't fit. Substantial leaks can interfere with the efficacy of treatment, so this is NOT just a comfort issue.

If the mask is fitting properly there shouldn't be any leaks you can feel around the edges. If it is a prong type there should be no air coming back around the prongs.
If you have a dry mouth in the morning, you are probably allowing air to leak out at noght.
If the pressure isn't maintained inside your airway, you are not getting the benefit.
There is a small constant leak on the tube on the front of my mask but the machine compensates for it.
