'Nother crappy TROLL

Post by teknomom » Fri Feb 10, 2012 1:49 pm

I'm going to PM this troll and pitch a fit. Oops! She's too much of a coward to register and give us a chance to put her on our "Foes" list or PM her!
I'm not going to bump her idiotic post to the top, but had to say: Please don't feed the troll. We know she just wants attention.

I wish people would stop replying to her as if it were a legitimate post.

Let's just hijack the thread so it isn't about her any more.

I hope I am not being mistaken for a troll, because the title in the troll thread is copying my legit complaint about the DME giving my husband an ancient apap that must have been sitting in their closet.

I have nothing to do with the "'nother" thread complaining about pharmacies.

Your complaint may be "legit" but not to the DME if your insurance company, like most, will only pay for a rental instead of a purchase. What do you think they do with the returned rentals? Throw them in the garbage and just eat the $450 dollars or more the device cost the DME? Complain to your insurance company. They make the rules.

Well of course you are correct. I don't feel any obligation whatsoever to register on a web site where one of the major pastimes is posting derogatory, specious and outright false statements about DME providers who work very hard to help OSA patients. So go ahead and pitch your fit right here in public - the same place your cohorts and friends post their ignorant idea that they are entitled to whatever they want from DMEs regardless of what their insurance is willing to pay for.

My insurance company purchases after three months of rental. They are probably not told by the DME what particular pap they are paying for, since there is one code for all apaps. Since we haven't met our deductible for the year, and I do know what machine they gave him, it becomes a fight with the DME, since I am not about to pay the same price for a brick as I would for a current model.
