I'm 2 months out from my deviated septum surgery, and am sleeping quite a bit better (and not using cpap.)
My sleep doc ordered another study to see if I in fact do need to continue to use cpap. I had the study last night and see the doc tomorrow, but the tech said my AHI was well down within normal levels, but I still had some arousals. He said the doc might order a dental appliance.
Off to search about those now....

Dental appliances aren't used in people with normal sleep study results. Maybe the tech meant something like your oxygen saturations were normal, but you are still having arousals due to respiratory events? Repost when you get the results.

Re: Had another study last night
So the doc said my study shows almost no AHI (like 1/hour) however my O2 sat is baseline 95.1% but lowest was 87.3%.
He said I definitely still have some events or arousals pretty often that's causing disturbed sleep. He said it's likely more UARS than OSA.
He said I should try a dental appliance if I don't want to use the CPAP. I'm not sure which I want to do, but I'm trying to avoid the CPAP if possible.
