Resmed S9 Autoset

Hello again everyone. I know I have been away for a very long time. I lost a lot of weight after starting CPAP and my last sleep study revealed that I almost don't need a CPAP at all. The pressure that I was at started to blow my mouth open as I slept. My doctor didn't feel comfortable taking me off of CPAP so he had me purchase an APAP. My old pressure was set at 8 and now I will be set between 5 and 10. My local DME company just came and set up my new Resmed S9 Autoset. I am so excited. Resmed came out with the S9 only a couple months after I purchased my old Elite II. I felt so cheated at the time. Anyway, because I bought my last CPAP from our CPAP.com, I got the clinician's manual with my purchase. Now I have much better insurance and because of other medical issues, I had already met my deductible. My S9 Autoset ended up being dirt cheap in the end! Because it came from a DME, they didn't supply the clinician's manual with it. I guess to make a very long story short, could someone PM me the manual? Thanks in advance and I really look forward to checking in more often. Not actually quite sure why I stopped in the first place. This is like a second home. Thanks for all of the past and future support!

You might also want to look at SleepyHead..information in my signature. It works great with ResMed machines but if you want the latest ResScan..look in Uncle Bob's signature line memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=38643

Good Luck with your new machine, I just got mine too and I LOVE it, only problem is I now know that my Mini Schnauzer has horrible breathing, and exactly when the frige cuts on and off! The machine is soooooooooo quiet, did you get the heated hose, I love that too!

I don't have it just yet. I should have it in a couple of day. I actually can't wait to sleep with my new machine tonight. How funny is that?

So, last night was my first night on my new machine. I slept like a baby!!! Didn't wake up once. Used it for 7.1 hours, 0 Leak and an AHI of 0.2! My average pressure for the night was 5.8. The doctor has my range set between 5 and 10 so it looks like I am almost at the bottom of it. After losing all that weight, no wonder my mouth kept blowing open at the pressure of 8. I couldn't be happier!!!

OOoooooooo I am soooooooooo happy for you!!! Great numbers, I hope someday I'll get such good relief, but I am happy to say I am loving my S9 Autoset even if its only for 5.8 hours.

I ordered my Autoset a year ago Groundhog's day. (next Thursday)
Over 2700 hours on it. (I'd have done better, but I had to get up and go to work--groan)
