Sleephead not downloading info now
Sleephead not downloading info now
When I first downloaded the info into sleepyhead I had no issues, but now it says there is no info to download when I insert my card? Any suggestions?
Here's to a good nights sleep!
Re: Sleephead not downloading info now
That happened to me yesterday and I just reinserted the card and it read it.

Be sure you are pointing at the right directory. Don't point at the P series directory, point at the directory it's in, or the root directory of the SD card.

Re: Sleephead not downloading info now
I have reinserted the card multiples times and still get nothing. I have the right directory. Could it be nothing recorded onto the card?

Perhaps the card wasn't quite fully inserted into the cpap machine. I have done that on occasion.letmezzz wrote:I have reinserted the card multiples times and still get nothing. I have the right directory. Could it be nothing recorded onto the card?
Try this...go put the SD card back into the cpap machine..make sure it "reads" the card and does its thing...
wait till it stops...remove card and go try SleepyHead again.
If the card happened to be not fully inserted initially, the machine will add the data that it stored in its memory to the card. The flow graph will be missing but all other data should be there. I did this very thing last night.

Go into windows and see if windows sees the card. Open the card and see if there are folders and data on the card.letmezzz wrote:I have reinserted the card multiples times and still get nothing. I have the right directory. Could it be nothing recorded onto the card?
You should see a "P series" folder.

Having the same problem. Says no data for the past ten days??? Did what you suggested - and went to Windows and cleaned it - or something. Anyone know what's happening?? Of course, I did use the machine, so have no idea what's going on.

Re: Sleephead not downloading info now
Look in Windows Explorer (or your OS's file explorer) for a DATALOG (resmed) or P-Series (PRS1) folder on the SD card, and check underneath to make sure they have content, to make sure the cards still valid.
If your clicking on "The Usual" each time it might have shuffled your drive letters in windows (sometimes happens when you have another device inserted/connected, and windows messes up it's drive letter cache.)
You might need to go into preferences and clear out this Import list, and try to import again.
Always point to the Root/Drive Letter of the SD card. SleepyHead detects the machine signature based on information in the entire SD card structure.
It's done this way so people can import from backups folders without being forced to copy them each time to a empty card/stick.
It's a good idea to flip your SD cards write protect tab to "read only" before inserting into your computer, especially on Mac's. Make sure you flip it back to normal before inserting back into your CPAP machine.
