What level of SPO2 is good for sleep?
My average SPO2 at night seems to be 94% with some drops to 92 and some rises to 97%, with 94% being average. Awake it is around 95% on average, so only a sleep drop when asleep. I thought anything above 90% at night was good, but I was reading that it should be above 95%, so now I am confused. My average AHI is less 2, which I think is great considering how bad it was during the sleep study.
Good SPO2 at night?
Re: Good SPO2 at night?
The higher the better, for the most part, but how do you feel? If you feel great, it's probably fine.DougVK wrote:What level of SPO2 is good for sleep?

Re: Good SPO2 at night?
I feel fine so far, one slight concern I have is when I first started using the CPAP my average SPO2 at night with it was around 97%, my average awake SPO2 use to be around 98% too. Not sure if this slow decline in SPO2 over time is important though.
Just to be clear it was 97% with the CPAP when I first started, without the CPAP I would hit below 70% some times.
