Finally got my S9 Autoset!

Post by rozenbob » Wed Jan 11, 2012 7:17 pm

After HOURS of phone calls, was able to change DMEs and receive the autoset instead of Escape.

The Pressure Range has been set at 7.0 to 10.0; but I am not sure what is a good starting point settings for EPR and EPR Level, climate control.

Also should I enter/setup anything on the data card prior to first usuage?

Thanks

I just got mine this week as well. If you got the humidifier, I'd suggest leaving the cliamte control on auto and see how that works for you. I set my EPR full time and in the middle (2). Seems to be working out fine. You shouldn't need to do anything to the data card.

Congratulations! I'm int the middle of trying to switch to your machine so I'm a little jealous

Don't worry about the data card; pop it in and it'll work fine. I'd suggest the middle EPR, and depending on your climate, start the humidifier around 3-4.

Best of luck to you!

EPR, RAMP and Climate Control are all individual. My feeling is the fewer variables the better. I would start with 1 on the EPR and move up if you need to and to off if you can. Climate Control depends on the person and their environment. You will just have to experiment. I didn't use my humidifier for months because it made me stuffy. Since I got my climate line I go through a 3/4 tank of water a night! Whatever works!
