I will have my third and hopefully the last sleep study tomorrow night. The doctor said that they will start at 10 and try to get my episodes below 12 an hour.
I started off with an average of 120 and the second study didn't accomplish allot. My sinuses are still inflamed even though he prescribed a nasal steroid to reduce inflammation.
What do they do if they can't get my apnea below 8 an hour?
I have always suffered from sinus problems. I remember when I was a kid and went to the allergy doctor twice a week and nothing ever worked.

best sinus fix is to use a netti pot to flush out with warm salty water, water goes in 1 nostril and flows out the other, I use a china coffee pot, needs no drugs, just the water and salt
with blocked sinuses, a full face mask can be used so most breathing is thru mouth, they should add a humidifier to stop throat drying out. this would be quite normal for them
