Need Therapy Mode for Remstar Plus (w/o Cflex)

Post by teejer » Fri Mar 10, 2006 11:37 pm

Hi. I just acquired a new Remstar Plus with Cflex. However, my partner has the Remstar Plus without CFlex. He does not have the user buttons. Does anyone know how to access therapy mode? I have tried every combination of the buttons on power-up that I can think of.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!!

PS: I just went from an old Healthdyne Tranquility with a Breeze nasal pillow system to the Remstar Plus CFlex with a ResMed Ultra Mirage Full Face Mask. This is my first night on the new system. I have hated the nasal system -- I am a mouth breather, and my sinuses have been in rebellion forever. Wish me luck!

Thanks!!

On my Remstar Auto, I hold down the two buttons under the display for about five seconds while reconnecting power to enter provider mode. If yours is the three button model, I think I've seen that you just hold down the one button under the display instead of the two buttons.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Bill

Unplug your machine, hold down the on-off button and the ramp button at the same time and plug it back in. The blower will turn on. You are now in the therapy mode. To exit, hold down the on-off button and press the ramp button once. The blower will now turn off. Use the on-off button to go through the different settings, and use the ramp and heater button to change the values.

Of course travel at your own risk changing the pressure settings!!!!
