Typically what does insurance pay f or

Post by rjg202 » Sat Dec 31, 2011 10:12 am

Any idea if they pay for a hose hanger or pillow. I would think not. I have a CPAP Supply store not too far from here. Right on the window says they will help you deal with insurance Company but not submit for you or something like that. It may be a good place to get accessories.

Last night was painful where mask contacts face it is very sore from pillow. I think I may need to get a special pillow

Very unusual for an insurance company to pay for these items.

It never hurts to ask.
The worst thing they can say is 'no'.
It gives me some satisfaction that I have used up their time.

Depends on your insurance. Did you read the booklet they provide you or call them?
Your insurance may have an equipment replacement timetable.

Lately, our insurance doesn't volunteer ANY information.
You just have to ferret it out of them.
Another cute creature!

If you have a FSA, you should be able to use those funds for any accessories.
