I've had the same problem with headgear-top strap goes up too high. Contact with the manufacturer resulted in them sending me a "waiver" for my idea, although I'd told them in the email that all I wanted was to be able to get their headgear so it would fit, and that I did not want any consideration of any kind, now or in the future.
Tried several fixes, including cutting the vertical straps in the back, shortening, and resewing.
The best fix I've found, actually the simplest and it remains adjustable, is to uses a piece of velcro cut just a bit longer than the distance from top strap to bottom strap. You can use the velcro to adjust vertical distance between the two straps.
I once got a different style mask, one that had the adjustable forehead rest....I never could get it to fit right. No matter how I adjusted it, it just didn't fit. I even went so far as to use a small butane torch to "bend" the supports on both sides. Still no good. I finally tried shortening the distance from the top to bottom strap at the rear. Instant success, although it take a bit of "fiddlin" to get the distance that works for you.

Re: Headstrap slips up with Quattro
It's nice to see that I'm not the only one having problems with headgear. I'm using the Mirage Micro sized small, with regular headgear. I put my hair over the upper strap to try to keep in in place as suggested by my DME but the strap still slips off the top of my head. All putting my hair over the strap seems to accomplish is putting knots in my hair. Am wondering if a small sized headgear might help my problem, but none of the suppliers seem to have any information on how much smaller, a small is. Can anyone help me with this? I don't want to spend $31 on a headgear only to find it's too small for me to use, especially since it's not returnable. Is the distance between the upper and lower strap less? How much shorter are the straps?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Re: Headstrap slips up with Quattro
Have experienced this problem with the Quattro as well. Now when I put it on, I adjust that bottom strap downward which seems to keep it positioned more evenly. Noticed if I can feel an even amount of pressure between the forehead supports and the bottom of the mask on my chin it usually wont leak or ride up. In my case it seems to be that bottom strap placement that is the key and makes most of the difference for things to stay put.
Unfortunately also with this particular Mask there seems to be a "luck" factor involved that seems to be controlled by the Cpap Gods themselves. Good Luck

Don't think I can adjust the bottom strap any lower. I wear a nasal mask, if I put it any lower, the mask won't set correctly. I've been keep the top strap looser and pushing it down, the putting my hair over it, but as soon as I move (which I do often) it slides up and off my head.
