I am wondering which full-face mask users prefer: the Mirage FX Full-Face or the Quattro? I know each has their pro's and con's for individuality but I just wanted to see what people prefer?

Do you mean "Mirage Quattro" and "Quattro FX"?DJ_Boxer wrote:I am wondering which full-face mask users prefer: the Mirage FX Full-Face or the Quattro? I know each has their pro's and con's for individuality but I just wanted to see what people prefer?

I don't think there is a "Mirage FX".
The names can be a bit confusing though.
There is also the "Ultra Mirage" full face mask.
Then there's the QuattroFX for HER ....
To answer your question, I've tried the first three and liked them all, but I would give first preference to the QuattroFX.

I Have the quattro and the quattro fx.
I'm an active side sleeper and couldn't get the FX to stay put, so its the quattro for me.

@Vader: Thanks, that is what I meant.
@Vader and @Darimont: Thanks for the input and when I went to pick up my machine I tried the FX and there was just too many leaks and just went with the Quattro. I had to return the one they gave me because it was too small and get in exchange the Medium. I am also a side-sleeper but I also sometimes move around after I fall asleep.

Re: Poll:Mirage FFM Preference?
I have both as well, I like the lightness of the Quatro FX, but I could never keep my lower lip from popping under the lower edge of the mask seal. Without the forehead support, I found the mask would ride up on my nose overnight. I tried to use this mask as I wear glasses and sometimes I would like to be able to put my glasses on without removing the mask at night.
After I added a pad to the forehead support of the Mirage Quatro, I found that the mask was much more comfortable. I still have a few leaks at the bridge of my nose with this mask but I am minimizing them to a point where I can deal with them. I am currently using the Mirage Quatro as My Mask of choice
What I would like to see is ResMed merge the Quatro FX Full Face with the Mirage FX Nasal Mask, for those of us who want a Full Face, but a lighter support between the eyes. Just my two cents

Re: Poll:Mirage FFM Preference?
I could not get the Quattro FX to stop leaking into my eyes. I sometimes have leaking around the chin with my Quattro, but that's tolerable. After struggling with it mightily, I've made my peace with the Quattro and find it incredibly comfortable now. The addition of a Padacheek liner makes all the difference.
