Camcorder and xPAP

I am wondering if anyone can recommend a camcorder that I could use to monitor myself when I sleep to help me with the progress of my therapy.

I hacked the lens on a cheap web cam ($7) and use a black light. I think Jay has an infrared light source. Here is a thread that discusses it.
