Bina,
There are way worse situations in life then being on CPAP. There are many people here who will try and help you. So hang in there and keep writing. People like to know what equipment you use. You can do that in your user control panel.

How are you getting along? Is it helping you? Inquiring minds want to know...
Cheers,
Jamis

Hang in there, I'm not sure what you mean about your husband and taking the mask off and trying to be quiet. What's going on? I'm glad you found the site, too. You need to use your machine very night, all night. How can we help?

I hope you hang around here a while. Perhaps your life partner's pain is for you, or for them - but regardless - you need to deal with this if you want to live a healthy life... or just live. period.

My husband is pained because I have to deal with this and he's powerless to do anything to help me - it's taken a while, but he's now accepted that I'm doing the best thing I can do. My machine is silent, and none of my masks make enough noise to bother him, unless I have serious leaks. Mind you, we have a box fan running in the bedroom at night to add white noise, so that may figure into it as well.

CPAP doesn't interfere with our sex life - we adjusted minimally - in fact we have a little ongoing game which I won't go into here.

Hang in there - it gets easier and when your partner sees you in better, happier moods, and knows you're doing the best thing for you and your health, it won't be a problem.

Cheers,
Xena
