Hi All,
I got my new machine yesterday and I love it!!! For the first time I was able to sleep through the night using CPAP. I’d like to get software and a card reader to further track my treatment. But I have a few questions. First what software is available for a mac and works with the S9 Autoset? I do not have a card reader and need to get an external reader. Will any card reader work? Is their an advantage to getting one from our host site or can I get one at an electronics or office supply store? I am really interested in monitoring my pressure because I am using the autoset to verify my titration pressure was accurate. Is one software better for this than the other? Thanks for all your help!

Re: Software Questions
SleepyHead has a Mac version you can use. Generic card reader/adapter will work just fine. No need for expensive one.
ResScan software is Windows based software and won't work on a Mac unless you set up a virtual Windows environment with something like Bootcamp or Parallels.
You can find SleepyHead here. Mac version is available.
Jimbos Mack build here..http://sourceforge.net/projects/sleepyhead/files/

Should you wish to create a Windows environment and use ResScan ....
ResScan available from Uncle Bob..check his signature line for link and also link for provider manual if you don't have one. memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=38643

Re: Software Questions
Thanks Pugsy! Setting up a windows environment sounds a bit more challenging than downloading software. Unless there is a significant difference between the ResScan and SleepyHead software, I think I'll go with the SleepyHead. Thanks also for the reminder to change my profile. Does the S9 autoset have pressure info available in the onscreen menu?

Yes. I has quite a bit of data on screen.NewbieinOhio wrote: Does the S9 autoset have pressure info available in the onscreen menu?
This has pictures of how to get to it and what is offered. Provider manual also has it but no pictures I think.
Sleep Quality has to be "On" to gather the detailed data.

Re: Software Questions
Thanks again pugsy. I've accessed the clinician menu and switched from cpap to auto and set my min and max pressures as they were on my old machine. My AHI was .2 last night so I know I'm on the right track. Will the clinician manual show me how to find my max pressure overnight in the onscreen menus or is that info only available with software?

Re: Software Questions
I have never used ResMed machine so I can't tell you exactly which bit of data is shown on the LCD screen.
There is a video that might.http://www.cpaplibrary.com/machines.html
Otherwise we need to wait for a ResMed user to explain what is shown on the screen.
Minimum and maximum pressures are there for sure. I don't know if the 95% pressure is shown or not.
Clinical manual should show you how to get to what is offered.
I would suggest giving SleepyHead a try. Mac version does work and it will give you the information you need easily.

Re: Software Questions
I really would like some help getting access to the dive logs on my Aeris AI Dive computer. I have been using the supplied software with updates from the Aeris support website since September of 2009.
I keep trying the software hoping for a different result .... (definition of insanity).
I love the computer, but the PC software does not run correctly on my windows 7 computer. When I download new dives to my PC the dive site and dive locations do not always work. The software periodically assigns its own dive site and then will not allow me to change it in the dive log or dive location sections. I have reported problem on the areis technical support website every year. No feedback, no solution, nothing.
I really love my Aeris AI ... but this is way to simple to fix ... please release the software as open source so it can be fixed by people who love the hardware. If you think your software is proprietary and helps you sell products you are kidding yourselves.
Please get your support people on board solving these problems.
If you need someone that knows how to fix these problems ... I would be happy to consult with your support team.
