New Intellipap

Post by cortez356 » Sun Nov 27, 2011 4:53 pm

I purchased an Intellipap Auto to use as a travel machine and as a backup to my S9. I just unpacked everything and set it up for tonight. I will report my experience later in the week. I did notice some positive and negative issues. It was refreshing to have a CPAP that comes with a decent manual and even a DVD. Resmed likes to keep you in the dark. I did not buy the SmartLink and after looking at some sample data online I probably never will. Perhaps in the near future Devilbiss will bring out a mdel with an integrated card reader and better software. I would pay extra for those features. Of course the Intellipap is less than 1/2 the price of an S9 and gives you a lot of bang for the buck. It is at least as quiet as the S9 and the small footprint is great. I also wish they had a slimline type hose. My complaints are very minor and I think this will be a good machine. I have heard from one dealer that the % of Intellipap machines that have warranty problems is much lower than with the S9.
