Hi All,
I have been using CPAP for 2 weeks now. Do any of you find that you're dizzy during the day? And if so, know of a way to help? I only started to feel this way when I started treatment.
Thanks for your help,
Clare

Re: I feel dizzy
Hi Clare,
If you click on the User Control Panel just under "Cpap.com" on the main page, then go into 'profile' and fill in your equipment - full names and models of machine and mask (using 'text' rather than 'icons' to make our life easier ), plus whatever your pressure(s) settings are, we'll automatically see what you're using each time you post (look under our notes to see what I mean) and then try to help.
Being dizzy is not 'normal', but so many odd things can come up when you first start out that nothing is unexpected and most can be dealt with... lots of good advice here.

Re: I feel dizzy
[url]Hi - What are your pressure settings supposed to be set at? Are you taking medication? How many hours do you sleep?
Re: I feel dizzy
Sometimes in the beginning CPAP can affect the inner ear causing some dizziness.

Re: I feel dizzy
Hi,
Dizzy is a vague symptom. But one possibility is if you had high blood pressure, and now because of cpap, it has lowered, it can mess with blood pressure medication requirements and cause periods of dizziness from low blood pressure. happened to me.

Re: I feel dizzy
Thank you to all who have replied.
My dizziness is subsiding but I am going to have my BP checked as I do take medication to lower it. The pressure on my Machine is set at 10 - not too high but I have found other threads that have explained that it can interfere with your middle ear. Just reassuring to know I'm not alone with this.
