Hello all,
I have had my new Fisher & Paykel FFM for two nights now. The first night was wonderful.... AHI was 1.7. The second night, last night, the AHI was 8.7! I am using Snag-it to try to copy and paste the data with no success. Can anyone advise me how to copy and paste the data into my message? I really had high hopes for this new mask, as I have tried 6 different masks with very little success. My chin is narrow, and FFM's usually leak massively. I was using the nasal cushion and taping my mouth, but really hated the taping.
Is it normal to have such a large fluctuation from the first night to the second? I am trying to think what else could have been different the second night,...
While I continue to try to work with Snag-it - Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Help Please! Second night with new FFM - what's wrong?

If u are having large leaks it would show a higher number of api's.

Images have to be uploaded to a hosting website then the IMG address is inserted into your post here.
This is how I do it.
Open the image to full size so it is easily read.
I use Vista snipping tool to create a screen shot and crop the image at the same time.
Prt/scr key will also take a screen shot if using XP. If laptop is used sometimes the Fn key has to be pushed at the same time as the prt/scr key
I think windows 7 Home Premium has the snipping tool, Basic may not.
Once the screen shot is created save it in jpg format.
Upload the image to a host site. I use Photobucket it is free, there are others.
Once the image is uploaded then copy the ENTIRE IMG address. Be sure to include the opening and closing IMG in brackets. Paste that copied address into a post here.
Use the preview button. If you can't see the image try again because if you can't see it we can't.

Hi Sleepyprm,
I don't really know why, but I often have daily performance changes with FF masks. Nasal masks too as far as that goes. But FF masks are more prone to moving on your face and side sleeping can dislodge them a bit. Also, most people droll during sleep and with a FF mask, it stays inside and gets on the mask seal. I use T shirt material cut into a gasket and it really helps. Be sure to clean sealing surface and wash face before bedtime. Consistency in those things can help...or they help me at least.
Good luck,
Jamis
