OK, here's my final vote: Get used to CPAP in a separate room and once you've adjusted, sleep with your hubby again and see what issues remain. Maybe with CPAP you will find you are less of a light sleeper (wouldn't that be great?!). At that point you'll be better informed to make a decision about the type of bed you need/want.

Well, you are learning quickly. Most CPAPers (excluding cpaptalk members) have no idea that narrow jaws cause their OSA. Even people who have been using CPAP for years have never questioned why they have OSA.toosexyformycpap wrote:
I am trying to learn. I don't know all the terms and have to keep looking them up. The more I engage here with you the more accepting I am of my own diagnosis. I can NOT sleep on my back without having an episode and gasping. I have a small jaw and the dentist had to pull teeth because I didn't have room for them, so I fewer teeth than average. My father has apnea and I have his facial structure. He is not being treated though (stubborn) so he's not a good resource.
Good luck in getting your condition under control and getting on with a normal and fruitful life. While this is your priority now, I hope you and your husband realize that his sleep seems quite toxic and eventually he needs to find the root of his problem.

Might as well have some fun with the dice that has been cast upon us
Knowing DH if I did something like that to my cpap he'd just give me an eyeroll.
