I never could get used to that machine i had about one good nite out of five, but i know what i have to do...any suggestions? Thanks Debbie

What were some of the issues with the machine that you could not get used to?

Other than general support and encouragement that "you know you really should use the machine"......it is hard to offer concrete suggestions because we don't know what your problems were. From what you said here I gather you had trouble getting to sleep.. Why? Mask? Pressure? Anxious?
Then if we know what problems you had, the members can offer specific ideas instead of just telling you to suck up and do it. They would tell you in a nice way but it is easier to help if we have more information.
Like trouble staying asleep? Again any idea why?
How many hours of sleep did you use the machine regularly?

It would help if you would go to your profile and add your equipment to your equipment page. This lets us see at a glance what equipment you are using and if it is your mask them members who use that mask can offer ideas.

You were using BiPap...what were the settings?

Welcome to the forum. The folks here will do everything they can to help get you back on the using the machine track. We could just help better if we knew more about what your problems were/are.

peanuto5,

As others have pointed out, it's hard to help with vague "I can't sleep with it" statements.

If the problem is specific to the machine (leaks, noise, mask is uncomfortably tight, ect.) the more detail you can provide, the better the help you'll get.

If you really can't pin down what the problem with getting to sleep is, read through my Taming the CPAP Induced Insomnia Monster. You may find some useful tips for helping you learn to get to sleep with the mask on your nose.
