heated hose hookup

I would suggest you take the hose with you to Radio Shack. The power adapter has a universal fitting, but you have to add a special connector to the power adapter to get it connected to the hose. The special connecter is free with the purchase of the power adapter, but there are many different types.

I recently ordered a heated hose and was told by a friend who received one last month that the Radio Shack Adaptaplug "M" (part number 273-1716) is the one that fits the heated hose. The Radio Shack power adapter is #273-1776. I have bought these to be ready for the arrival of my heated hose.
