YEAH, well its not like they didn't score 16 runs in one game. Its not like they didn't come back twice in game 6 then won it. Its not like they did it with little help from their 2 highest paid athletes. Its not like they already had TEN World Series Championships (they did). Its not like they've been to the big show before (17 times previous). The only fans that can say anything, without looking and sounding like cry-babies are yankees fans. Are all baseball fans jealous? Probably ! ! ! Oh well. There is always next year. I mean the Tigers didn't choke in '06 and lose in 5 games, even after La Russa let the winning pitcher of their one win cheat the whole game. Teams win because the other team chokes, can't handle the BIG SHOW. and have really good athletes. Rangers 2 years in a row. If I were one of history's greatest pitchers, I wouldn't show my face outside my house, and I would do the honorable thing and resign as the president of the Rangers. What I really liked best was the guy that played for another team most of his career and didn't get that ring, or even any ataboys from his team. They threw Lance Berkman on the scrap heap, another losing Texas team. Thank you from St. Louis, 'Stros. I believe he was the driving force that pushed those guys into winning. But then they had a lot of other reasons to win.
