30 Day PAP Follow-up Visit w/ Dr

Post by Perrybucsdad » Mon Oct 24, 2011 2:32 pm

Had to laugh... I visited with my Dr today after being on PAP for 30+ days. Just looked at my numbers and said "keep up the good work and see you in a year." and that was about it. He said my pressure was right where it should be and said I shouldn't be too concerned with the positional sleep apnea issues. He said the APAP was doing it's job and I should just concentrate on getting a good nights sleep.

I guess I didn't expect much more than that, so I guess I'm pleased.

Congratulations--hope the successful treatment is resulting in your overall feeling of wellness. I got basically the same pep talk myself last week. It's sort of freeing knowing I don't have anyone looking over my shoulder--I feel like I can take more chances with masks and the like since I'm the only one who will be looking at the numbers for a long, long time.
