Hello,
I am just now seeing my s9 reporting central apneas on my detailed report. I have also noticed the central apneas are starting at around 4am till about 7. I have never had central apneas before. Is this a normal time to be having these types of events?

Re: S9 reporting central apnea
I can see central apneas on my patient triggered breaths graph- if it is low on bipap st then the machine seems to be breathing for me when I stop

Hi Jobe,
They can happen most any time. Two times when they do seem to occur more regularly are: Sleep induction and REM sleep. And that's just what I've observed and seen people report. They seem to cluster.
Have you changed pressures? Change in meds? And even a change in sleep position can effect central frequency.
