S9 and ResScan Software

Post by mcejsul » Tue Oct 11, 2011 1:08 pm

Hello all,
I am trying to find out information about Software for my new S9 AutoSet. I have searched through some posts and found a few referenceing Uncle Bob. I saw one link/ post that referenced a 3.14 version but no link to it. Does anyone know if the Ver 3.13 will work with my New S9?
Also, my daughter's laptop has a card reader on it. Should I be able to just use that card reader or will I need to get the one for ResScan?

Thanks
Mike

v3.13 will work fine. Uncle Bob has a link in his signature to get the latest software. If you search for his posts you will find it.

Mike

You can use the built in card reader on the laptop.
link to software and manual for the S9 below my avatar to the left.

Version 3.13 should be OK for your S9.

I seem to have ResScan 3.14.017, and I'm not sure where I got it, if not from Uncle Bobs link, yet Uncle Bobs link appears to point to 3.13. Should I be using 3.13 rather than 3.14.017? Is there an issue with the newer version? Regardless, those boys at Resmed may be good at other engineering stuff, but they sure produce flakey Windows software--not that I'm complaining.

I used to have the link for 3.14 but that link requires the person to fill in a form on the Resmed web site prior to download. I was getting several PMs from people who apparently had problems just entering BS on the form and were asking me all kinds of questions.

The 3.13 is a direct link to the download. As far as I'm aware the 3.14 version was released to support the S9 VPAP machine. I have no idea if they did any bug fixing or not.

You can also save yourself some headaches by watching the video tutorial linked in my signature.
