Does anyone know how to keep the mouth and throat from getting extremely dry while using an oral mask

What do you consider an "oral mask"? You have listed a nasal pillow mask (covers the nose only) in your profile. To keep your mouth closed using your mask you need a chinstrap or you need to tape your mouth shut.

Practice tongue placement in the roof of your mouth to seal it and yes you can train yourself to keep your mouth closed while you sleep. I did that and used tape and now I don't use anything.

Using an oral mask like the Oracle, you are breathing through your mouth all night long. That seems to almost guarantee an extremely dry mouth.

You could try turning your humidifier to the highest setting, but even then your mouth is likely to get dry and you may not like the heat from the humidifier.

BTW, do you use nasal plugs to stop the air pressure from escaping through the nostrils?

I run my PRS1 AutoBiPap humidifier at a setting of 5 and a room humidifier also. Even so, there is some dryness.
